The International Club
To encourage interest and generate support for foreign language culture and customs, the foreign language teachers at Myers Middle School have developed an International Club.
This club meets once a week and is open to all students in grades 6-8.

Albany Fund for Education Grant -
The International Club was awarded a grant in order to provide activities, events and craft materials to be used with our afterschool program for the 2010-2011 school year. By reaching out to the about community groups we feel students will be able to learn to accept and celebrate the differences we have, yet gain an understanding for what makes us the same.
Souls4Soles Shoe Drive - May 1 -31st students and staff were asked to bring in a gently used pair of shoes to donate to our shoe drive. Check out www.souls4soles.com to find out more information.
